Default Anyone using these?

My mother's driveway is on an incline and has a very steep curb. I took my Polaris slingshot over there last summer and when leaving scraped the front end. I just purchased a z51 corvette 2018 and it is lower than the slingshot so it will hit for sure.

I was thinking this product would help.

thanks everyone.

I suppose if one's gutter/drain were such that it would fit correctly, it would be okay.

But, if the front air-dam is all that scrapes I found it took 17 years of such with my C5 daily driver before I needed to replace it. My C7 scrapes as well, but less than the C5. Now, if you've additional under-bod pieces...

My neighbor uses it and it works great but I just enter and exit at an angle and never scrape.

thanks for the feedback...if my mothers's drive was not at a downward angle I would say I could just drive up or down at an angle and be OK. I found some youtube videos and there was a car no more than an 2 inches from the ground and it worked for him so I think it will work out.

My C6 Scraped the plastic air dam every time I left my driveway for 6 years. It’s designed to scrape and bend.

Every ~year I would sandpaper the bottom edge. It looked fine when I sold it, could not tell it was scraping. My Grand Sport with carbon fiber splitter only scapes the side plastic air dams IF I pull out fast. No problem. The carbon fiber splitter does not scrape. If I pull out slowly as I always did with the C6 the side plastic air dams do NOT scrape. Others have the same, the C7 air dams are slightly higher than the C6.

Default Hmm?

My guess is it will work great for 7-10 days. Before someone steals it.

the neighborhood is full of these ramps...I would say almost every house on her block has them...it is how I found out about them. Each block weighs 50 lbs and they are bolted together. My mother ordered an extra one so it will weight about 200 lbs.

Seems like that would work well to get your car in the driveway without scraping.

I just installed one at the end of my driveway this evening. My 2019 Z06 does not scrape anymore. Mine has the extra center piece and when all sections are bolted together it weighs about 200 pounds. I will see how long it is before someone one tries to steal it.

I don't but then again I have access to asphalt which I used for my scraping issue. It's probably the cheapest solution. And you could always install a pipe under it for drainage.

A lot of folks in my neighborhood had them - then last year the town came around and took out all the concrete gutters and regraded the road edges for drainage into new collection basins they buried. Too bad, last year you probably could have picked up a set real cheap. They did seem to work OK, though.
