Just picked up my GS at 15% off. Probably could do better in a month or 2 but I found just what I wanted and they gave me a good price on my 2012 Camaro trade in. Very soon you won't be able to order and may have to settle for what's out there.
Talk to Mike Furman at Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg, MD.
I talked with Mike, and he gave me such a good deal I couldn't say no. It was one of the easiest transactions I have ever had buying a new car. Drove our new GS Roadster home in December.
Walking the fine line between the variety of choices today, and the better prices on fewer choices in the coming months. The factor of there won't be any 2020's to wait for is also coming into play. Hmn.
Actually a win win situation, worst case i will still have my c7 vert.
Waiting

Thinking about getting a 2019 at a bargain price, anyone else thinking the same?
No. Certainly not at the precipice and availability of a new, state of the art, bargain prices C8. 2019s, are now like yesterday's newspaper you already read. Besides, I'm already driving my bought new bargain priced 2017, bought in 2017 -20% discount off MSRP.

If it were me, I would not buy a brand new Corvette, with the C8's right around the corner. The 15% you save may be offset by the fact you are getting a new Corvette model with 5+ years of "current model"-ness in front of it. Buy a new 19 now, and you just bought a slightly improved 2014.
The C7's will still be there, and even cheaper. Nothing to lose by waiting 60 days. Be patient, you just might fall in love.
