I saw a video of someone taking the C7 headlight a part. Its an integrated unit and parts cannot be taken off. He had to use a dremel to cut the lens off and then glue it back on.
I've heard folks sit them in their oven (at low temps) to melt the glue and pull it apart; Do at your own risk (and it stinks).
Not to Hi-Jack the thread, but... Anyone know the purpose of that little window on top of the headlight ? Folks put those 'eyelid' things that cover it up. Always thought they're there since the car is so low, but sure that's NOT it.
I heard about the oven for the C6 lights but It's different for the C7. I didn't think they made a replacement lens but you never know there is always someone
with after market stuff. I don't think that light cost any more to make then say a Malibu but it's a Corvette so bend over.
I think it was early 2018 that I saw vendors just starting to offer C6 headlight replacements - 5 years after the end of the C6 run. So it could be a while yet before vendors see enough demand to offer them for the C7. There were vendors offering just the lens before that, but you had to do the shake n bake oven routine to replace the lens on your existing housing.
