Farewell, Vette is gone ....
Hey all I sold my Vette outright maybe because of the C8 coming out (hint, hint). Thanks for all your expertise, fun and yes some jousting! See you on the C8 forum in the near future.....

Sorry to see you and all your thread activity here go.
I don't know man, seems you are putting a LOT of faith in a car we know so little about. Good luck to you.
I will wait and see, perhaps if all goes well get a Vert when they appear.

You are gonna miss not having a vette til your new C8 is in your garage and who knows how long that may take.
Best of luck and see you on the C8 forum when my C8 stick shift vert is in my garage............

Seems a little hasty....
Do you have a connection or something to get a C8? There might be a considerable wait.....

So long and good luck on your future C8. Myself still too many unknowns to commit to the new platform, I really would like the performance to at least match my Z06, prefer a M7 and would love another convertible. I think I may be out of luck at least in year one.

Good luck and hopefully the C8 will be what you want. I’m still on my honeymoon with my 2019 M7 Z06 so I expect at least two more years before my full blown smile reduces to a grin ever time I drive it. I hope the C8 is great but due to the radical platform change, I know I will at least wait 2 years before I consider it and until the higher performance, Z06-equivalent, is released.

It's gonna be tough without a Vette in the garage. Now, just because you don't have one right now doesn't mean you have to leave us completely. You still have the knowledge that you can impart to others. So, hang around until you have to move to the C8 section.

Congrats on the sale of your car and hope the wait for your C8 is a short one.

Sorry you are parting. You always had a good civil manner. Good luck, and will probably see you on the C8 forum. I am rapidly wearing my car out with 98,700 miles on it. Will probably need a new C8 soon. For now, bye.

The responsible part of me says it was a good move and If I decide to not get a C8 I'll still be able to pick up another Vette at what I'm betting will be in a flooded used vette market and I'll take advantage of buying in winter.
The fact that I'm a male means I'll never truly grow up and this side of me keeps looking for another car to hold me over... I've started looking at motorcycles and even looked at buying a POS with potential to fix up and flip because again... I'M GOING CRAZY!

^^^^^^^^
I totally get this! I’d go buy a C6Z or something for the short term. Value drop there will be negligible!

I think with the luck you've had with your C7 you'd be crazy to get rid of it!
