Default 6/2/19~Bakers Dozen Corvette deliveries,Ton of pics/stories. C8 reveal~Mike Furman

~42 years of experience selling Corvettes and being a Corvette enthusiast certainly puts me in a position of fielding interesting questions...
I could write a book on those questions received but it's ok, that's part of why I love Corvettes and Corvette folks so much, it's called passion for America's #1 Sports car!
Clearly, the Next Generation Corvette is and will be the hot topic this Summer. July 17th-23rd...yes I will be out of the office and Yes I will be at the reveal so please don't call during those
dates expecting to place actual orders for the next Corvette. I am sure GM will reveal not only the 8th Generation Corvette but the plan of action for allocations
and when actual orders begin along with the process. If you are receiving emails from me/ in my C8 deal folder line then you will be well informed upon my return from the C8 reveal.
This will be my 5th new generation Corvette that I have sold thru and trust me, experience counts. Ask any of my 4,350 Corvette customers.

~Kai Spande, the Corvette Plant Mgr had some fun in his own Camouflaged car...

~I had a dozen plus deliveries this past week so enjoy some of the pics/stories down below.

~Pat O of Baldwin, Maryland bought a new Z06 from me two years ago and when he did he also left me a deposit for a 2019 ZR1 and a 2021 Higher HP mid-engine Corvette. I always say ”Chance favors the prepared mind! ”
Pat factory ordered 10 weeks ago a 2019 ZR1 in Ceramic Matrix Gray metallic with black interior and Blue stitching to match the blue calipers. He also chose the 7spd manual transmission, chrome badges, chrome wheels, and 3ZR pkg.
vin#2470.

~Jim F. of Hebron, Indiana called me 8 weeks ago as he follows me on the forums. Jim placed his factory order for an Elkhart Lake Blue 2019 Z06 cpe with Black interior. A mere 650HP is almost in Jim’s hands as the paperwork has been completed
and Plycar Trucking will pick up his new Corvette within 48 hrs and deliver right to his driveway. Jim’s new Z06 Corvette has 7 spd Transmission, Competition seats, transparent roof, CF hood stinger, 10 spoke blade pearl wheels,
CF painted mirrors, red seat belts, and 2LZ pkg.

~Mike and Kathy N. of Clarksville, Tennessee called me up 8 weeks ago and wanted to order a new Corvette for Museum delivery. They only lived 80 minutes away from Bowling Green, KY so I gave them a quote which included a sight unseen trade value for their 18,000 mile 2016 Corvette. The deal was made and this past week was Red Carpet Day at the National Corvette Museum. Last week I had their 2016 Corvette transported to Criswell while the paperwork/payment process was completed thru Fed Ex. Two super nice Corvette folks are now the proud owners of a 2019 Stingray Z51 Corvette in Shadow Gray with Spice Red interior, 3LT pkg, CF badges, Magnetic ride, red calipers, Black motorsport wheels, and 7spd manual transmission.

~Bill and Linda N. of Plano, Texas had a great experience at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY this past Saturday. Their new 2019 Corvette Stingray Conv is Ceramic Matrix Gray with gray interior and Spice Red Top.

~Stacey T. shares his time between Minnesota and Texas and we actually met in Nevada when I was there with a group of my ZR1 Customers for Corvette ZR1 Owners school. Stacey had ordered his ZR1 from me just a couple of weeks prior to his
Corvette owners school so we met up at the race track and had dinner at the Pahrump Racetrack Clubhouse. I had an extra ZR1 allocation at our other Chevrolet store so Stacey was fortunate to get exactly what he was seeking on his 2019 Long Beach Red ZR1!

~Gary A. of Rocky Face, Georgia placed his 2019 ZR1 Factory order 10 weeks ago and this week the Red Carpet was rolled out at the National Corvette Museum. Gary chose Arctic White with Adrenaline Red and the following Equipment for ZR1 #2407:
7-speed manual transmission, red calipers, carbon flash painted wheels, two-tone red interior, ZTK Track Performance pkg, red seat belts, and 3ZR PKG.

~Duane G. Of Highlands Ranch, Colorado called me 8 weeks ago to place a factory order for an Elkhart Lake Blue metallic 2019 Z06 with Black interior. Duane wanted our service dept to check it over before having Plycar trucking deliver it to his Colorado driveway.
Equipment list: 7 spd manual transmission, 2Lz pkg, CF good stinger stripe, chrome badge pkg, navigation/PDR and much more. Plycar Trucking picked it up yesterday and it should arrive in a few days.

~Erik B. of Aldie, Virginia came by Criswell a year ago and was about to place a Corvette order then backed off. 2nd time is the charm so he placed a factory order 6 weeks ago for his very first Corvette...a mere 650 horsepower!
Erik ordered his 2019 Z06 in Torch Red Paint with two-tone Red/ Black interior, 7 Spd transmission, transparent top, black wheels, CF painted mirrors and 2LZ pkg. I spoke with him on Saturday and he was wearing a perma-grin.

~Charles W. of Aldie, Virginia visited me at Criswell as he wanted to place his 2019 Grand Sport Convt factory order using all my experience. This week at the Corvette Museum was his special Delivery day and his new Blade Silver GS Convt looked stunning!
Equipment list: 7 Spd manual transmission, R8C, Red calipers, chrome wheels, Two-tone Red/ Black Seats, 2LT Pkg, cyber gray dual stripes, and Black Convt top.

~Zach V. of Brooklyn, New York bought his 2010 Callaway Grand Sport Convt from me 9 years ago and still brings his Corvette here for routine service every year. He leaves his Brooklyn, NY home between 2-3am and arrives at 7 am when our Service dept opens.
His Callaway Corvette was his retirement gift to himself and its the gift that keeps on giving. Odometer reading now at 25,225 and counting! Zach prefers our Service Department over any other Tri-State Chevrolet dealer and Dina in our Corvette Service lane always
gets his Corvette work completed in a timely fashion.

~The Frank Class Corvette Barn Find and throwback section...Post up your favorite. You can choose more than one.

~Drive safe and enjoy the week!

Since everyone is in the flashback mode, I included this photo I took yesterday at a local Corvette rally near Richmond, VA.

Have a great Sunday, Mr. Furman!!
1961 Corvette owned by a member of our local club. It is mostly original, save for aftermarket A/C and a four-speed manual transmission that replaced the automatic.

Thanks Mike for another week of great photos and stories.

Congrats. to all the new owners, all great looking Corvette's hitting the American roadways.

Since the "Father and Son" C5 and C7 generation photo has been deservedly so mentioned numerous times already as a favorite, I went with my second choice here.

Have a great week ahead, and continued success bringing miles of smiles and enjoyment to your clients.

You are continuing to sell up a massive amount of C7’s! Many happy customers as a result. I like the backstories.

Also love the pictures of the older Corvettes. Thank you Mike for another wonderful Sunday delivery thread. My favorites:

Some awesome ZR1 deliveries this week, especially the CMG and LBR low wings. Just my opinion but the chrome ZR1 wheels look so much better than the black. The crashed ZR1 and barn finds were particularly painful to look at but all in all, another great thread. Thanks Mike.
