I am looking to upgrade to a C7 from my 2004 C5. I found a nice car but unfortunately, it has a reportable accident. https://www.icarnj.com/chevrolet-cor...r-sale-c998965 Although minor I Feel this could be disqualifying I really think this vehicle is priced too high. I did a test drive the car and it is tight and in great condition. I would welcome your thoughts from your vast storehouse of wisdom on this vehicle. CARFAX
It has a target painted on it, hit not just once, but twice! 1 in 15, again in 18. 3 fan boys got their ya yas off pounding this wretched wreck to 31k miles. Take it to a Lexus dealership, they love cars with capital L's on them. But you shouldn't.
They are building 1lts (lowest priced vettes) as fast as they can make them now to clear out the parts bins. GM is dumping incentives on them to sell cheap like there is no next year (there isn't for the c7) and dealers are trading c7 vette allocations with other dealers so's they can get more c8 allocations later from GM, and turning these c7's they traded for, for cheap as soon as the car hauler's roll up!
This is the greatest target-rich buyer's market in the history of the c7. And the c7 is a fine automobile. I bought my second new one last week.

Its always a risk to buy a vehicle that has been in an accident, but if you get a great deal it might be worth it. All depends on the damage and how it was fixed. Keep in mind at trade in time they will ding YOU for the previous damage report thus resale value will be lower.
My wife's last and current car were both rear-ended - the damage was completely limited to cracking the rear plastic bumper. The fix was literally just a parts swap: old bumper off - new bumper on. There was nothing wrong with the car at all, no leaks, no squeaks, no issues. Even more interesting was on one car there was NO CarFax report of the problem, we told the dealer the car was hit but they didn't even care since the CarFax came back clean. The other car had damaged reported but I couldn't find any evidence of it other then a missing plastic clip from the trunk liner.
I wouldn't worry about cosmetic damage, the concern is mechanical damage or structural damage. Given the composite body of the C7 it might hard to tell where cosmetic damage ends and structural damage begins. I tend to buy used cars to take advantage of the depreciate curve so I don't expect perfection... you may be different. Cars tend to collect minor issues during their life, so having a less then perfect car to start with allows you to enjoy it without the constant worry about messing up a shiny, new showroom condition Corvette. Good luck.
Too many good deals right now. No reason to settle for one thats been n an accident unless you know, and are comfortable, with the details. You'd want to be getting a discount to compensate for such as well.
The price is about right for a 2014 2LT WITHOUT any damage. Wouldn’t touch this vette at that price, especially with 3 owners reported in addition to the prior accident. Too many other previously owned with clean car fax available.

runner beat me to it. I was going to say the same thing. That's about right for an asking price for a 2014 with 2LT and Auto tranny. Maybe a tad on the high side. For a car with 2 accidents it's about way to high. Don't even consider that car. That dealer is hoping for an impulse buyer, not someone like you OP, who does their homework. Also, for ANY C7 you're serious about, don't forget to get the VIS report from a GM dealer, even if you have to pay for it. The VIS report will tell you all the warranty work performed on the car. You can avoid buying a problematic car with this report. Hope you keep looking for a C7. BTW, I had a 2004, C5 coupe before jumping to a 2014 C7. I have no regrets at all.
