Exhaust note sharp/quick increase with throttle
While I understand how these exhaust muffler valves operate, they seemed more gradual in operation in my '18 Grand Sport than they do in my '19 Z06 I just purchased. It seems when they open on the ZO6, the sound increase is very abrupt to the point where it startled my wife and I the first time we drove it. I wasn't expecting to hear the exhaust note to go from quiet to very audible almost instantly. To those who know, does the different engines in these 2 cars have any bearing on the exhaust volume and/or response from the exhaust muffler valves?
