Rough idle
Picked this convertible up 3 weeks ago and noticed a rough idle. I figured I'd toss in a bottle of Chevron cleaner with Techron just as a possible solution. Two tanks later it is still a little rough. The water in my bottle moves from it. Anybody know of anything else I should check like the IAC or cleaning the throttle body? 60K miles on it and previous maintenance unknown.
Thanks guys

Yes compared to my previous C6Z it is rough. According to my personal friend and Corvette Technician, part of the problem is related to the direct injection. His recommendation to help in minimizing carbon build up on the back of the valves, is to run up the rpm's in the lower gears from time to time.

I thought this was a feature of the LT1 V8 - it has that old school muscle car rumble at low RPMs that shakes the car.

There's a service bulletin for adjusting the engine mounts on some of the early cars. But the engine is supposed to have a noticeable rumble at idle.

It is an American V8 muscle car. Have you been in one of those before?
Yea, they are intentionally unrefined. You want refined and LGBT friendly, get a Porsche.

Burning Brakes
My 2017 started to do this a few months ago. I took it into the dealer and they said it needed a PCM update. It seemed to help a lot. It still has a little vibration but that is normal for that motor.

And, check the cam specs... that ain't it, if interpreted as typically done.
