Default Driveway issue

Hi all. Am purchasing a house. The only problem is the where the driveway meets the street, the angle is a little too much, causing my C7 to potentially bottom out.....unless I am very very careful. I am sure that some type of portable ramps are made to fix this problem, but don't know where to look. Can you help me out? Thank you.

West coast Corvettes sells Bridjit driveway ramps. It's a 3 piece set made out of heavy rubber. $410. They might be what you are looking for.

My son had the same problem with his Porsche Cayman S and bought the Bridjit ramps. Just perfect. I rolled my GS into his driveway for the first time last Sunday. Good clearance.

Default driveway

I had a concrete guy put a slope on as a extension. Only cost $500 and it works fantastic. 3 car driveway try to grab a guy working near your house. I han terrible problems before with my new gs and my 2006, Prblem I lived with for 11 years. Gone now, my best investment.ever.

I got a thick mat from Tractor Supply and cut it in half for a runner (vertical) on each tire going into my shop, apron was a little steep. Mat is pretty thick and very durable, prob used for a horse trailer for horses to stand on. Not but about 40 bucks. You could use it horizontally as well.

Porsche offers an optional front end lift. The C8 might have it along with lane change ?

I had the same problem with a steep driveway on a house I owned. It was the one thing I didn't like about the property. I ended up entering the driveway at a pretty good angle, and approached the drive SLOW. That seemed to really help.

Default Angle of Approach

Consider calculating the actual angle of approach in order to determine how to slope the entrance to your driveway. One calculator is available here:
