Got my Vette after 45 years!
I just joined the Forum. Recently got this 2017 Grand Sport. It had only 900 miles. Dreams come true!!! Wanted one since I was 10 years old.

Great looking car. Like the red stripe around the wheel...nice to get the options someone else had paid for.

You did the right thing buying a C7. You will love it! I had to wait 41 years between buying new Corvettes. It took Chevrolet that long to get back on track with the Corvette. I love my 2017 C7, too! Absolutely great cars!

Congrats!!
it took me a long time too. I was 51 years old when I got my first (and only - so far) Corvette, a new 2017 Stingray.
My girlfriend just bought a new 2019 Stingray too. Now we are a "red & blue" Corvette couple.
Enjoy your 'Vette and be sure to join a club in your area!!

My GS is my first as well. I was more of a luxury touring car guy and had an RC Lexus for about eight months when I got the itch yet again. Went out on a Sunday to search a few dealers and found the one I wanted. I’d actually been looking at them around town for a month and it was down to two dealers based on their selections. My wife asked if I was looking at cars again and of course I said no. Went in Monday to look closer and knew I had to have it so called my wife before I signed to tell her that well maybe I had been looking and she just shook her head. She knows me all too well and knew I wasn’t happy with the Lexus. I brought the Vette home two years ago and have yet to get the itch to go looking and for me that says something. You’re gonna love it. Congrats.
