Tire replacement question

Default Tire replacement question

Just noticed I have some damage to my Z51 front tire probably due to a pothole. They are Michelin AS3+ZPs. The tires were on for about 15k and was wondering if I should change both fronts to keep thinks running properly. Tires do not seem to have much wear? Just don't to do things half a*sed. Thanks, Mike

That is always my concern. 15,000 is usually where mine are at least half warn and don't want a new and old tire on the same axel! If worn half or more I'd replace both. Tough if only 20% worn. I'd measure the tread depth!

If you decide on two new tires look at it this way, that much less chance of hydroplaning with full thread depth! One incident hitting anything and that extra tire was cheap!
