Default Suggestions on wheel prep

Welcoming all tips and suggestions on cleaning and prepping my wheels before getting tires and mounting.

ive seen some post on ceramic coating and whatnot. Right now I have my new z51 wheels sitting in my garage. What can I do to properly prep them?

TIA

Regardless of the finish use Rejex wax on the fronts and barrels.

When I did mine, I thoroughly cleaned the wheels and then applied a coat of the same wax I put on the painted surfaces of the car.
