Need more info. I live in a relatively small town and usually don't have to wait at the large Chevy, BMW, Mercedes Dealer in town. Called for my free alignment (to my specs) and had the appointment the next day. They have 16 Service Bays and several C7 certified techs. Bought my last 3 Vettes from out of State and never an issue.
Now the small Chevy dealer from a small town 30 miles away who did my Courtesy Delivery for a flat $250, has only one Certified C7 tech. Had to wait for his free time to have my MRC software updated. Did that because he is very good and the service manager's wife has a C7! Only problem having him do the alignment is they sell mostly trucks and my carbon fiber splitter would not clear their alignment machine ramps!
You are really at the mercy of the dealer and how many corvette techs they have. When I had my C6 I had to wait 3 days before they could even look at m TPMS issue...they said they only had one guy who knew it. This is different from my work world....there are times we have to work day and night based on demand...and since salary do not get extra cash. Now, I am confused why the car tech would not want to make overtime...but that is the way it works.
I am expecting crappy service (not good work done just delays and lack of concern) when I bring m corvette in....but I am ready for it. I can walk home from my chevy store and I work from home. Have a slingshot if I have to go out...just cannot be to cold or rainy out.
This was all 8 or more years ago. I think now the chevy dealers give you loaners for over night service so this make it easier. 8 years ago this was not an option.

Depends on how busy the service department is - even at a small dealership like we have around here it is not unusual to have to wait 3 or so days to get an opening.
At my dealer it depends on time of year and area. It averages about two weeks during the height of Corvette driving season (May - Aug) in SE Pennsylvania.
thanks for the replies guys looks like its not unheard of this time of year id type more but I just got a finger surgery and typing is now incredibly hard lol
