Default Long time lurker, first time Vette owner in KC

Hi folks, I've finally joined to Corvette family with a new 2019 Z06. Those of you in KC on MO or KS side, where do you all take your cars for warranty work or just for an oil change? Hendrick seems to sell the most Vettes but not sure if that means anything in terms of service department although I always had good luck there with my gen6 camaro. Curious if either of them can do a proper 4-wheel alignment with caster on a Z06. Any other favorites out there?

LOL, yes... Almost pulled the trigger on a Z06 a couple times in the early 2000s but each time I was close to buying one my wife told me she was pregnant so a 2-seater was a no go. Not to mention I was a little worried that just looking at a Vette would cause us to have more kids! There are plenty of jokes to be made at my expense there... Anyway, it took a while but I've got my oldest driving my winter beater/rainy day car now so it was easier to sell her on me having a 2-seater! So glad I can get one now with the targa top, patience paid off!

Moving this over to the C7 General section for answers to your questions. You an also post in the Mountain - Prairie Regional Section or the Great Lakes Regional Section as those two regional sections cover the Missouri and Kansas areas.

You did the right thing buying a new C7 !!

I was a 39 year lurker since selling my bought new 1977 C3, L82 in 1978. > Photo below. I loved my C3, as much as I love my new 2017 C7 in avatar. ♡

Sorry about the missing pics, had to take it back to the dealer yesterday to get the splitter and rockers put on. Here's a nice pic in the sun now that it's got all it's parts and the suntek on the front to the doors with ceramic on the whole car.

Congratulations on the beautiful car. I grew up in PV and OP and was stationed at NAS Olathe so I know the area well. Can't help with dealers since we moved away in 1974. Still have fond memories. Enjoy the ride.

Bill, congrats on your new ride!

Call Alex Fults in the Hendrick Service Department and tell him I sent you....he'll take great care of you. I've had my C7 for almost 6 years. That's the ONLY place I'll take mine. They've also installed a lot of aftermarket stuff for me. They'll do it all.

I live in Lenexa....be sure to join the Corvette Club of Kansas City too!

Damn, that looks nice. My wife is mad at me for buying a white car rather than a blue one We've had too many blue cars.

Anyway, congrats on the new ride. Hope it's all you dreamed of and more

Thanks, Steven! I always got great service from Hendrick when I had my SS so I'm glad to hear that wasn't a fluke. Plus, they sponsor the CCKC from the sounds of it so that is always a plus. I do want to join one of the Corvette clubs in KC, I've been reading up on all of them. It looks like Corvette Club of KC is one of the biggest and they meet not far from me so that's convenient too! I'll have to find you at the June meeting if I can get my kids to stop using me as an uber driver and get their own rides that night!
