Default Funny.... horn

16 Z51 20k miles M7.

Video link at bottom.

Apologies for not looking for a thread on this first, but I figure this one is worth sharing. 2 things:

!) What is the deal? anybody ever seen or heard of this? Fix?

2) Flame on, have some fun with it. Puberty jokes immediately come to mind, she is 3 years old now, at a 6 to 1 car years to human years aging ratio shes getting there. Get creative!

Reminds me of this

The horn actually consists of 2 different ones. Yours sounds like one isn't working

Does sound pretty weak. Just tried mine - it is much louder than yours.

Not flaming you, but that does not sound right. It sounds like the bicycle I had when I was ten.

I take it that this is a new sound?

Only the higher pitched horn is working.

The horns on this car, and many others, is essentially in the wheel well. They get wet and corrode, or otherwise fail. I suggest replacing both horns when you go in to address the lower pitched horn. There ar louder aftermarket options as well.

As a bit of trivia, on BMWs if one horn fails the computer takes note and turns off the still functioning horn. A TSB states both horns must be replaced at this point.
