Nav/HUD issue
2014 and 2019 Stingrays: Navigation directions usually appear in HUD (awesome feature!) but not always (very annoying). Why not 100%? Any fix?

Mine always does, I guess. It's been a long time since I used the factory nav. (or the HUD for that matter) Seems like my polarized sunglasses and the HUD don't get along very well. And for the most part I use WAZE.

Both my '14 Z51 and now my '19 GS only display nav info in the HUD when coming up on turns, etc. If nothing is happening that I need to respond to, no HUD display
(fine with me. If you want 100% HUD display time, select it in the DIC)

Check to make sure you have the right information displayed. I think it changes based on the hud display you choose and the settings for the main screen behind the wheel. For example, I think you can choose phone, radio, nav, etc. Play around a bit. Do you ever change modes or display settings when you have noticed it missing?

I can see the turns on the center console screen, but they don’t appear in the HUD.
This problem occurs only about 10% of the time.

I started a thread about this several months ago, got the same kind of responses you are getting above.
While navigating along an entered route that has already had several turns indicated properly in the HUD, I will approach a 90' turn from one street name onto another. Have been driving straight for a mile or two along the route. The turn arrow and countdown bar will appear in the center screen but not in the HUD. If I make the turn properly, even though it was not indicated in the HUD, then the system will work for the next turn.
For me, this was randomly happening about 5% of the time while vacationing for a couple of months in/near Phoenix AZ. Now that we're back in Illinois, I haven't noticed it but don't use the Nav system much around home so it may or may not be happening here. The car has the 2019 Nav update.

You’re right about this being random. Quite baffling. I hope somebody has a solution. Or at least an explanation.

NAV and HUD, love the technology... a bit off topic, I apologize, but I remember the good 'ole days with one hand on the wheel, the other hand fumbling with a rather large, unfolded map that took up half the interior, and squinting to see street signs and address numbers, all the while doing 5mph so you wouldn't miss your turn and royally pissing off everyone else on the road. Good times I tell you!!

Love my HUD and in-dash nav. No dangling wires or clumsy mounts. No need to remove my phone from my pocket.
Thanks for the blast from the past!
