I come out and this is parked near me.
very high quality restoration of interior and exterior. I took a very minutes to admire this Packard.

Very Nice! From the limited view looks to be about a 1936-ish Packard 120 Victoria

Don't you hate it when you park your Corvette away from the herd and someone parks their old car next to you?!

Wouldn't mind driving that around a for a long weekend. That's the kinda car I wouldn't mine riding in the way back.
This was my "in the way back" when I was a kid. 70 Pontiac Cat station wagon.

Very nice classic car. At least he parked behind you instead of right up against your car.

Notice the extra space he left between you? Car guys are the best.

"In honor of jpee"
He was afraid of Corvette doors swinging wide, too!!!!
Cancha' just see some little kid saying, "Ooo, dad, can I climb up in that back seat?" "Sure, get in there. Here, I'll help you up, just be careful when you step on the fender. I'll take a photo of you so smile at me!"
I'd probably come close to losing my (hot dog and cola) lunch if I saw that happening.

Without seeing the car's interior and quality of restoration it's worth about the same as your Z06 ($80k>$90k). Surprised it's owner would leave it so exposed with top down in a discount store parking lot. But then you sometimes see the ultra-wealthy purchase such cars at auction (or more have their representatives purchase them) just for the sake of having them and really don't care so much about the cars. But then you don't typically fine the ultra wealthy shopping at Costco.

Would you swap him even? Definitely no where near the excitement of a Z06 but then the Packard is appreciating in value while the Z06 is depreciating.

I read the title and thought I was going to see either a corvette surrounded by a bunch of elantras and SUVs (because people love to park as close as possible in the middle of nowhere, they seem to find me everywhere I go) or a shopping cart into a door or something.
This was a nice surprise.
Look at all that room he left. You were in good company.
