Default Parade lights

I participate in a number of parades each year. I would like to have some flasher strobe lights to be used only in a parade situation. I know that you can only use white lights for this. Does anyone have these in their C7 and if so, where can I get some?

Try Whelen. They're the biggest maker of police lights in the country. They make LED flashers you could put inside your existing lights, never see them when they're off.

You'd have to cut the lights open to do that.

Sounds like Ken would have an idea if it would work or not...if the pace car had it there has to be a way. Would think installation knowledge is vital so you don't fry your electrical system

You just remove the lenses and then glue them back.

I'm sure whoever installed the lights in the pace car was not a Joe Shmo like me, it was done correctly !!

There are a lot of battery powered or cigarette socket powered strobe lights available for $15-$40 or so from Amazon. These would be the simple solution. Just search the site.

Like I said....you have to cut them open. You can't heat them up like older headlights. GM and other manufacturers have switched to a different type of glue that doesn't soften under heat.

As far as the pace car goes, it's likely GM supplied custom BCM software for it. If it's the law enforcement software, then you won't get it. GM only releases those to legitimate law enforcement agencies that submit paperwork to Techline.
