Road and Track article - C7 at the Nurburgring
Hi everyone,
Attached is a link to an interview I did with Chris Perkins of Road and Track. We chatted about all the fast laps I did with the C7 at the Nürburgring.
The premise of the article was not only to inform everyone the lap times, but also to shed some light relative to why nothing ever got posted.
I really want to thank Chris; he is a super cool dude. He was kind enough to let me review the article before it was published. I wanted to ensure the story was crystal clear to give the C7 community the story they deserve.
He projected our conversation excellent in the article. Unfortunately, we were limited to 1700 words. There is a lot more detail to each story that I will be posting in the future on my blog page at: . https://jimmero.com/blog/
Thank you,
Jim

Thanks for posting this.
I read your “worried” comments about the C8 on another forum. Interesting.

Jim - thanks for getting on here and speaking directly to the Corvette fan base, Social media has a way of distorting facts, so it's great to hear the details directly from those at the source.
Cheers!

Yes I will be there. Carlisle was gracious enough to provide me a booth in the installation area. I will also be doing a couple of seminars. They told me I could choose what I want to talk about. I'm a little perplexed on the subject matter.
As i am typing this message a thought just came to mind, a poll on the forum relative to the subject matter. Stay tuned, Occasionally I come up with a good idea. LOL
Thanks,
Jim

thanks
now, your new job should be ''TEACHING'' people how to ''DRIVE''
I went to ''keith code'' motorcycle school ,[25 years ago] at elkart lake ,wis [road America] and I learned more in 20 laps then I ever knew about handling, and street driving
and since that time ive driven some of the fastest street/race cars [lambo, ferrari, corvette, etc],and those motorcycle laps still come back [even on the street]
thanks again for being here and telling us some of the inside storys of corvette development
