Bought it in California, driving to Sweet Home Alabama
Well, I just bought a 2017 Blade Silver 2LT with the light gray interior (wifey likes it!), in Sacramento, and I’m driving it home to Alabama. I’m currently in Wyoming, and the only problem I’ve had is getting this goofy grin off my face!
I’ve attached pics from Bonneville Salt Flats and Snowy Range Wyoming. More to come.
Living the dream!

Looks great? I may be in the minority. But, for the C7 gen the "base" Stingray is the "cleanest" looking Vette. I have two C6 wide bodies. It worked better with them.
OP- You have a sharp Vette.

Enjoy your ride, I just completed a almost 900 mile ride and fell I learned allot about my car, the best was the excellent fuel economy it has, I also found better to use cruise control as you fairly breathe on it and your flying.(not sure if a new car your supposed to stay at same rpm for break in) Congratulations ,

Great way to get to know your new car by driving it across country. Best of luck on the trip and hope you get many miles of enjoyment from it.

Very nice. Bought my C7 June 1 in Raleigh! NC. It was a 600 journey back to Nashville. I can tell you for sure you are going to enjoy your trip back to Alabama! Wishing you safe travels!

I guess no matter what the speed limit is....
This car has never put a foot wrong yet, no matter what the terrain.
It’s a manual—and just over 1500 RPM at 80+ in 7th. I can’t believe the gas mileage the computer says it’s getting—I’ll check it myself when I get back home.
Previous Vette was a C4–night and day. Been lurking and learning here and contemplating a C7 for a while. I am super impressed with this car as a Tourer. I’m coming from an air cooled P car and I’m excited about parking this thing next to my 1968 Camaro that my dad bought new. Happy to be back to all Chevy’s in the garage!

Beautiful photographs for what look like a fun adventure.
I did the same thing with my 82 year old father this past february. We flew to Knoxville, TN and drove 800 miles north into Michigan with the car. It was an awesome time.
