Default Strange thing happened to my Michelin's

I have no clue what happened to my tires on my 2019 with 1600 Miles. Went out to the garage yesterday to wipe down the car and found these strange spikes growing out of the sidewalls on all four tires. They appeared over a 24 hr period. Anybody ever seen anything like this ?

I saw it before on my Audi TT with the Michelin tires. I just ignored it and they went away. Have no idea what they are.

Sure looks like leftovers from the molding process, the sites where the rubber is injected.

I've seen new tires with a few of these on them but never seen them literally grow overnight, and there's lots of them.

Are you sure they are growing. Looks like part of the molding process to me.

All new tires have them, they’ve been there since coming out of the mold.

They're vent holes in the mold that makes the tires so that there's no air spaces in the tires themselves.

I’ve seen rubber spikes like those on other tires, although not in that number.

It sounds like the OP really thinks they grew there overnight.

They have been there from the second the mold released the tire at the factory. Like others have said, there are hundreds of vent holes in tire molds and these are the artifacts from the molding process called Vent Spews. They have ALWAYS been on your tires. You just are now seeing them. Almost all tires have these. It depends on the mold design if they are there or not.

It is called stubble. Your tires are reaching puberty.
