Looking for rental ideas for truck and car trailer for my C7
Hello. Looking for rental ideas. Me and my wife anniversary is coming up and we want do something where we go to one one of the big name tracks, maybe camp out there if possible. Depends what kind of events I can get in on. First though I need to see if I can even find a way to tow my car any kind of distance. All suggestions welcome. Total of this be 3 days. Next purchase will be a truck for this exact reason but until then....

Until you get an enclosed trailer with a truck to pull it I would just drive it there...

If you are going to camp like you say, the Corvette is out as far as bringing the gear you would need. Like the others have said, rent a pickup & a car trailer from U Haul or Penske

The corvette is a great road trip car and actually has a a lot of room in the back for your luggage. You will enjoy your trip much more if you just take the corvette and head on out. Otherwise $50k plus for a 3/4 ton truck and another $5 to 15k for an enclosed trailer.

I trailered my C5 behind my motor home for over 3 years in a cargo trailer. The trailer dealer is a car guy and recommended leaf spring trailer as it will be lower. Worked perfectly. Or, if you can't get a low enough trailer, you just need to take some boards to make it easier to go up onto the trailer.

If you can't get a trailer that is low enough you just need to put boards to get the car up high enough. Also, I put the tie downs around the wheel spokes, much easier. If you wonder if that way to tie down could hurt the wheels, I towed mine around the country over 3 yrs & 22k miles with no problem. When you look at trailers make sure you will be able to get in & out of the car.
