Latest mod!
Got started early this morning on my latest project: install AFE throttle body spacer and Burger Motorsports hi-flow air filter. Looked at the online videos and seemed like a 30 minute job max!~ WRONG! turned into 4 hour job.... first thing I did wrong was drop one of the throttle body bolts down into a hole in the front cross over brace. Finally recovered it and finished that part of the job. Next, the electrical plug on the air filter body refused to un-plug... there is no way to put the new filter in until this is out of the way. Ended up removed two screws that holds the sensor inside the body. Putting it all back together and on the last screw I dropped the wrench and it ended up down on the steering assembly.... finally got my wife with her skinny arms to pull it out. Took it out for a road test: no way to tell if any HP increase but it sure did improve throttle response and felt like seat of the pants power gain! I'm happy! CJ
