Default A/C not cooling at low speeds

I’ve noticed the A/C blowing air but not cooling a few times. It seems it happens when going at low speeds and/or low RPMs. Is this common? The car is a ‘19 GS M7 with less than 3K miles.

My 2016 is like a freezer unit even at low speeds. You might have a problem.

If you're low on refrigerant you might be going off on the low pressure switch. See if the clutch on the compressor is engaged when blowing warm.....

And make sure that the electric fan is working. Keep an eye on the engine coolant temperature which will also go way up at low speed/idle if the fan isn't being commanded on when it should be running.

I too thought I had an A/C cooling problem in my 2019 Stingray. But one day I noticed that the dash vents on the passenger side were completely closed (wife did it)
I opened them up and no more A/C problem! Cools like it should. Why it would work that way I have no idea. Doesn't seem logical. But it worked. So, check to see that all the dash vents are opened.

Lots of folks have problems with the C7 AC - when it happens to me, as it did day before yesterday, I turn the temp down......

Check on the infotainment screen what the outside temp is reading when you get no cooling. The HVAC system uses that sensor's reading in an algorithm to control your temperature as well. If the reading is lower than it actually outside, it will not cool properly and vice versa. Had my sensor replaced in a previous car and no more HVAC problems.

Something to consider.
