I didn't know that I'd get so many stares and conversations! And challenges on the highway!

You do need to watch the other idiots on the road. All sorts of people (men and women) will speed up to catch you, pass you, slow down in front of you let you pass them and then pass you again. When I got my 15 Z06 I took my late 20s neighbor out for a ride. He was an Audi/VW guy. While we were riding on a 4 lane wide interstate he asked me "Is it always like this?". I had to ask him what me meant and then he pointed out all of the cars moving to get close to the Vette and Zig Zagging through traffic to get near us. Waves, thumbs up, challenges, almost hitting us from the rear and almost taking off the front fender when pulling across in front of us.

Sometimes I feel like I need to clean up the drool because of all the people trying to get a close look at the car or take pictures of it. It gets comments everywhere I go. I think it is the triple black color because it makes people think of the Bat Mobile.

The best part is little kids in parking lots pointing while asking, "Daddy, why can't we have one of these?"

I was patient as well. Been researching for nearly two years. Get the one that you want! You'll be happier.

I'd suggest spending a lot of time reading forum threads (the relevant ones). You will learn a lot about the features and technical details of the C7. A tonne of info here.

Congrats on your C7 - she’s a beauty. Get used to the challenges - it goes with owning the car. Best to just ignore them
and enjoy the car.
