Looking at doing Expel on my car, and I’ve been told it won’t stick since it’s already been ceramic coated. Anybody had Expel applied after ceramic coating and if so did it stick??
Thanks
I understand you should coat over film, but car has already been ceramic coated. I’m not looking to wet sand the car.
Question- “Has anyone had GOOD luck putting Expel over ceramic coating”

Xpel says no. Seems to me that should answer your question

I know what Expel says and all the so called rules!!
I’m looking for a first hand response from someone that has done or attempted along with results!!

As expensive as Xpel is, I doubt there are many willing to find out if the manufacturer is wrong.......

I am a pro detailer and the ceramic coating has to be removed first. It won't stick.I know a famous person that thought I was nuts and went somewhere else. The first time they took their car to the car wash the Expel on the floor of the car wash. However it does not have to be wet sanded, if your installer knows what they are doing the ceramic can be buffed off with a good compound, polished back upon and the film installed. He came in to my shop, realizing I knew what I was talking about to have it installed correctly
