Very true. They made about 1500 similar cars (crystal red verts ) in MY2014/15. A majority of his posts hinge on an RPO code no one cares about. I'm certain his family and friends are tired of hearing about some old man's "rarest" Corvette.
I'm glad you like your car sir. Please stop talking about it.
A brand new member whose very first post is to give someone **** about his car.
terepas, all joking aside, making a sticky that would appeal to such a limited group would not be in the site's best interest.
There are larger groups that don't really generate enough interest to make it worth it.
However, a sticky that has all the special editions linked in the first post may be a good idea (similar to the official colors thread) and generate enough traffic to make it worthwhile. I know that most special editions already have an "official thread" already out there that could be referenced.
That's not a bad idea. One sticky thread with links to the relevant special edition threads would be pretty handy to have.
I'm not giving him **** about his car. I'm letting him know it's socially awkward and cringeworthy to constantly bring up it's RPO code rarity.
I did a quick search for 'Atlantic Edition'. It's pretty much this same guy begging everyone to recognize the significance of his trim package.
Everything on that car can be had on other C7s via Chevy's accessory catalog. It's not a big deal. If someone wants to make a case for rare trim RPOs then I'd argue something like twilight blue would be a better choice. It's not something you can just order out of the catalog and install in an hour.
I'm not saying twilight blue is that big of a deal either, but at least it's genuinely unique.

Thank you. I know I wasn't the only one who noticed.

Is there specific criteria to produce a sticky? Is it at the discretion of a moderator?
I want one 'cause no one knows how to pronounce my name...............

Here's an idea, if you're so passionate about documenting the "Atlantic Edition" why not register a domain name and create your very own website where you're free to do whatever you want?
People do it all the time for obscure automobiles.
