Well, I guess
that my range device is actually throwing CELs. I have had 2 CELs generated from the transmission and both have gone away following Range instructions. My assumption is, therefore, that the Range device is causing the CELs. This is recent behavior and I have had the range on the car for a while with no issue. I will continue to use the Range. V8.6.1. I am coming to the end of my 5 year powertrain warranty and am undecided what to do. I had the triple flush with the new fluid and I still have RPM variations. I need to decide what to do before 9/25.

I would contact Range and discuss with them. I bought the Range AFM for my '14 about a month ago and the version is 8.6R1. Perhaps your's needs updating.
