Switched out my performance summer tires to the all seasons awhile ago---I was perusing the c8 order guide and lo and behold all seasons are standard Did we learn a lesson here?????
Note that the C8 Z51 (and probably future GS/Z06 models) will come with summer-only tires. As Max said, should be a choice for all models.
If you can get 5 or 7 or whatever colors of seat belts, don't try to tell me it's too complicated to have the tire option.

In the C7 forum a number of us have been saying all season tires should be standard on non Z51s, summer only tires on the track oriented cars.
Z51 wheels are forged. I can't imagine having anything but summer rubber on a Corvette.
I can't tell you if they are forged, but I can tell you they are weak.
2017 Z51 Mag ride usually in Tour.
Two sets of GM wheels/tires- PSS and AS3+
At 30k miles, we have bent 5 of our 8 wheels. The roads in Illinois are bad, but not that bad.
Previously, 200k+ miles in other Corvettes without any wheel damage except one curb rash.

I've bent one in 46k miles, but it was a bad enough pothole I'm shocked the car even drove right after hitting it. Insurance covered the tire, wheel, and alignment.
