Cupped rear tires
The Michelin all weather rear tires on my 2015 are cupped and make a real racket at highway speeds. I have taken the car to the dealer and to a local respected tire store. They both told me the same thing: it’s a characteristic of the vehicle b/c of the camber of the rear wheels. Neither proposed any solution other than new tires. They are only a year old and have plenty of tread. Any solutions from my fellow Forum members?? Thanks!!!

Cupped as in scalloped?
Usually come from loose or worn shock absorbers /suspension parts/ tires out of balance.
I’m afraid the damage is done you may need to replace them, but only after you fix what caused the problem.
At 20,000 miles on mine, all the treadwear on the back has been even, And there is no racket/noise well beyond normal highway speeds.
Interested to hear what other members say.
Good luck with the fix!
