Thanks for being do very condesending. Yes i did all of above. I design software for my business. Im going to not say what i really want to other than when i sm om ferrarichat discussing my ferraris i thought some people there were just....... i leave it nameless. You take the cake
Take care.....ugh
Yes, now you say you did all those things but would it have killed you to mention it?!? Am I supposed to guess or read your mind?!? I specifically asked you point blank and you consciously ignored me. Everything I said was the truth. Face it! For the record, I don't think you did any of it, and you're just saying it now to cover the fact that I exposed you. Blocked - have fun solving your little problem there...
Yikes. AA can be frustrating. I have found that rebooting and reconnecting the USB cable can get it up. Last weekend it did not work on my 2019 after upgrading. I tried all the usual fixes but nothing worked until I de-paired my phone from the car and cleared and reconnected the phone under Settings. Then it came up and projected to the cars screen. It's been working perfectly ever since. Good luck because it is worth it.

I have found AA sometimes hit and miss in terms of how well it works, but I need it so seldom that I haven't devoted time to exploring its ins and outs. Any other tips would be appreciated.
Bought 2019 yesterday. Bluetooth psirs fine..music phone no issue. Android auto on galaxy S8 wont work. Keep getting error code 8. Latest version of android, latest version of google play, etc. Tried 4 different cords. Went back to dealer wont work on other vettes or models either. Any ideas?
There is a setting that popped up on mine that was selected “ only charge this phone “ and I selected to allow it to share information via USB and that fixed the problem for me. Look for USB or connection setting on your phone.
Without the cable attached when you get in the car and Bluetooth connects the car and phone does the phone automatically switch to Android Auto? If not, there is a configuration issue with the phone.

That's not true. There is a setting for AA to autoconnect when connected by your car's Bluetooth called autolaunch. You could set it off. That's not a configuration issue it's a configuration setting or preference.

Auto-launch is the default setting, so unless he's changed things this should work.
