I have a 2017 Stingray with the drive mode, magride, sport exhaust.
Someone told me that there is a way to get to customize the settings so that I could get the sport mode settings but with the touring ride suspension.
He said he did it for his 2017 Grand Sport. But he didn't tell me exactly how he did it. I asked my Chevy dealership and they said they do not know how.
Thanks
Will
Trying to understand, you want the softer touring suspension in sport mode? I think that would actually be very counterproductive, you would not want the suspension softer in sport mode. There is a setting for having the NPP exhaust sound louder or quieter on any of the modes, but unaware of any suspension mods like you suggested.
You can sort of do this by setting the mode to tour. Then select Settings > Driving Mode > Steering and select Sport. The select change the Engine Sound Management (in the same Driving Mode menu and set it to Sport as well. You'll have Tour suspension (from the driver mode control) and Sport steering and Engine Sound. These steering and engine sound settings stay unchanged as you change the driver mode. There is no way to make the suspension setting "fixed" in the same manner.

That should be ok. But then if I want the sport exhaust to be more quiet I can undo the setting but is there a quick way to reduce it other than changing the mode setting again??
The person that told me it was possible to make some changes said it was not a good idea to drive city street regularly in sport mode because with the suspension so stiff he heard that is how some of the rims were getting cracked/bent.
Do you know that is true? I thought it was from the torque with the supercharging in the ZO6.
I have been told best not to drive city streets in TRACK mode because of stiff suspension and potholes etc. I never heard that before regarding sport mode. I drive my GS in sport 90 % of the time . I will be looking to see what others say.

I think what you are talking about is you want the driver display to look like it is in sport mode but have the touring suspension on. Yes you can do that. On your steering wheel hit the left arrow next to select and scroll down to options. Hit the select button and scroll down until you see something about sport settings and then hit the right arrow button and you should see this screen. Scroll to sport setting and hit select and your car will stay with that screen but you can change the suspension to anything you want at anytime.
The Z06 w/Z07 is quite a bit stiffer in Track mode than the Z06.. there are even a few tracks I would not use it. I did kinda figure you were asking about the Track mode sound in the other modes. I have mine setup that way, it is a simple menu change. I am curious how the track mode is now after the magnetic ride update I did.. should be good.
