In the process of replacing the 2015 Z06
battery, my wrench caused an arc, so I also replaced the fuse box that mounts on the battery and still no juice. Opened access to the fuse box under the rear mat. Is there an easy way to determine which,if any, have blown out?
You can check the 350 Amp fuse with a ohm meter, but likely it is the fuse you blew., and if I understand correctly, you have to buy the whole box. See link.
It is a brand new battery and all the fuses at the battery were checked and ok.
So, you have good voltage at the battery on the positive lead going to the other parts of the car? If you put a voltmeter on the positive lead and then put the voltmeter negative lead on a ground, you read good voltage, correct?
Are you getting good voltage at the connection to the front engine bay fuse box?
Hi guys, thanks for all your input. I had the 350 fuse block checked by a mechanic and he told me it was still sending power thru it. Bought a new battery fuse block anyway and after checking all the inline fuses, I reassembled everything and prepared myself for a tow to the dealer. Guess what, either the new fuse block or a loose wire fixed the issue. My guess is the fuse block was damaged but not a total loss.
