I think the Vette looks great in an orange color. If I could have found one when I was looking for a C7, I probably would have gone with the orange.

Sebring Orange is the 4th best selling color in 2019. I bought, I love it.

I like the color but this is the issue I have problems with it. No matching color stitching for it for the inside interior..I really like that look. And which brake caliper color goes well with orange..not yellow or red. And then what color interior...should one can go black but then no match stitching. I think the C8 is going in the right direction with color options and interiors to complement.

Still - sebring orange is a great color...just posting why it might not be so popular...plus it is NOT a safe color so dealer order red, black and white.

I had my calipers powder coated t match INFERNO ORANGE for less than GM charges for colored calipers (www.renewedfinishes.com)
and my CASHMERE Interior is more attractive than the usual EBONY.........(IMO)

I wanted orange but didn't feel like driving to a different dealer... wish I had but it is what it is. I settled on what they had on the lot which was CMGM.

President of our club just traded in his '16 Blade Silver Z51 for a '19 Sebring Orange Grand Sport - did it on his way back from the Caravan

(quite a change from silver to orange!)

OP, you're using '18 production numbers, and Sebring Orange (SO) was only painted for about 3-4 weeks of '18 production, which was an already shortened MY. Only around 9K 2018 C7s were produced.

When the new plant came on-line in November 2017, they started by only painting a few colors. SO was a new plant color and not one of the first they started with. They started painting them in January 2018, and 18 production ended on January 26.

I know this because I had to wait for for my SO order to be built, and that happened the last week of '18 production. It is a 1 of 1 car, the only C7 M7 Stingray convertible built for the 18MY. Only 2 SO Stingray convertibles were built, and the other was an automatic.

We don't have '19 numbers yet, but I'm told it's a top 4 color, and obviously popular enough to return on the C8. I absolutely love it, and I didn't care for the "rusty" oranges on previous C6-7s, but Inferno was the best of them.

See 2018 production stats in the link below. There were only 40 2018 Sebring Orange GS cars built (34 coupes and 6 convertibles). There were only 85 total of all C7s from the '18MY.

As I said above, that's because they only painted that color for 1 month at the end of the 18MY. It was not available until the opening of the new paint plant.

The 2019 model year production #'s were released on Sept. 12 and included future production to the end of the run.

White...6789

Black...6164

Torch Red...4848

And in the #4 slot is Sebring Orange at 2980 or 8.6 %

It's great colour,,almost as good as Black Rose.

I always wanted a Red Corvette so I purchased a Torch Red C7. That said, since Sebring Orange came out I am a BIG FAN and it will be the color of my C8.
