Are the tires on the 2017 GS non-directional, if so can the be changed side to side on the same axial

My '15 manual recommends rotating side to side every 7500 miles.

The manual is your friend.
Side to side is the only rotation due to the tire sizes, and so recommended in the 2017 manual, P276:

Correct, the tires can be rotated side to side on the same axle.

The tires are asymmetrical but not directional.

The Michelin PS A/S 3+ are also asymmetrical, but not directional.

It's interesting that the manual section cited above says to rotate the tires and references page 307 but that section does not specify rotating the tires.

Yep, at 8,300 miles, it is time.

Regardless of what the manual suggests, I rotate my tires at 5,000 mile intervals on all of my vehicles.
