I'm gonna say no Heide, I think that is a 12 month thing. If I'm wrong hopefully someone can correct me. If you know your dealer well maybe you can convince him/her to work with you an a repair. Good luck.

If talking about the area where hood folds under on trailing edge or elsewhere it folds under (under/out of sight), then is normal. Paint job is not done well in such locations since no one sees it when hood is closed & there’s nothing to rust. Otherwise check OM concerning paint warranty coverage.

Ask your dealer to fix it under warranty if that is what you want. Your paint shouldn't be cracking anywhere in the first 3 years of ownership so it should be covered under the 3yr bumper to bumper warranty.
If it's not bad, I would rather touch it up since it's under the hood vs letting a dealership repaint my hood.
