Default X-pipe

Thinking about x pipe. Want more sound in loud mode! Anyone know what the best fitting stock diam. 2.750 would be? I know borla stopped making them.

AWE!
If you want to know more about AWE, check out this video. I recently visited their facility and picked up an XPipe for my C7.

For 2.75" it would be AWE tuning.

Contact us for pricing!

Josh,

When I installed my AWE x-pipe, it measured in at 3" with the digital calipers. I just checked their website to make sure I wasn't remembering this wrong. It also says full 3" diameter T304L Stainless Steel. I also took a screenshot from the video I filmed on the install. I'm currently editing the video and should have it up next week on my YT channel. Hope this helps!

How much did you pay for the AWE 3” x-pipe?

It was $449. Fortunately they are only about 40 mins from me which allowed me to pick it up and film the video!

Give them a call or send them a message on their contact form: https://www.awe-tuning.com/contact-us/
I know there are supporting vendors that also sell their xpipe, so I'd reach out to one of them too.

Corsa double helix x-pipe. Perfect fit and sounds great... especially w/its Xtreme mufflers.

Will replacing the stock pipe and cats with an x-pipe void the GM power train warranty?

^^^ Anything is possible, but highly unlikely. Plenty of related discussion on here... FYI, only the front cats are monitored (O2 sensors).

I agree. Lots of discussion around this topic. Hard to know for sure how a warranty case will land when there are aftermarket parts on the car. And yes, only the front cats are monitored, so replacing the xpipe will not throw codes...unless you introduced exhaust leaks around the donut gaskets. Ask me how I know. I'd recommend having new ones on hand just in case your old ones are toast.
