That looks good.
How's the brake light output from a distance? That's my only concern with doing something similar to my taillights.

Having been rear-ended a number of times with regular brake-lights, that's the last thing I'd feel comfortable with no matter how I felt about the looks.

I like the outline, but I would make both show the full lines of the taillight. Hiding the 3D part was a nice idea..

Tail lights are painted, absolutely, alot of light output, even on daylight

Thank you, the 4 fins have been purchased on ebay, the lower panel has been cutted by me from an ABS sheet (20 mm thick) and bolted below the stock rear panel

altho I do understand the concern of taillights. (here, for driver skill level and car's ability to stop, we follow too close, and go too fast for conditions.).
