Did the whole idiotic, forget to lock in the targa top and it took a bit of damage. There is no structural damage, just the fiberglass showing itself on the edge here, with some lines protruding up but no more than 1/2"
I know this is fiberglass but the GM dealership was ballparking me around 700-800. Really?

Yes, the solid top is made from carbon fiber so the process may be a bit different in fixing the top.
My suggestion is to check with a highly trusted body shop that has done some work with carbon fiber and see what they think in terms of cost to repair.
Damage looks minimal. Cheapest fix: sand smooth, maybe add some filler and then vinyl wrap. Any decent fix would require repainting and the prep work to get a perfectly smooth surface is likely where all the cost will come from.

First grind it smooth as possible, have it vinyl wrapped.... Maybe $50 total. Don't bother trying to wrap it yourself, the compound angles will drive you nuts! Ask me how I know!!!😂
