Hood/nose panel alignment
Pics are of my GF’s 19 Stingray. She drove it to work yesterday and sends me pics of the hood where it meets the nose, which appears the hood is not aligned. First 2 pics are when she first arrived at work and noticed the issue. 2nd 2 pics are about a half hour later when the hood mysteriously realigned itself. My first thought was that someone leaned on the nose of the car. Looking at car when she got back home with it, it appears the front edge of the hood sits up a few mm higher than it should. Parked next to my Z, it clearly is not flush like my Z’s hood. I have a few panel issues with my Z but I haven’t heard of any hood alignment issues like this one. And the fact that it appears the wind gets under the hood and makes it worse. Anyone else see this yet???

No, that didn’t happen. Looking back at pics of the car, I noticed the hood has not been properly aligned with the nose since we picked it up at Kerbeck. It obviously wasn’t as bad as the pics show but it still was not flush with the nose like my Z is. Car is still in warranty so I’ll take it back to the dealer.
OP, I bought my Vette from Kerbeck too. Had paint issue where the quarter meet the front panel and glass alignment on both doors. Took it back to the dealer and they took care of everything. Talk to Dale Murphy the service manager.

There’s actually (3) 10mm bolts there. The hood is just misaligned from the factory. It sits higher on the passenger side than it does on the driver’s side. We just never noticed it. I would adjust it myself but I’m concerned that if I try and adjust it ad cant line it up correctly, then take it in to dealer, they will deny the warranty. So I will let the dealer align it. My 17 Z vert has panel alignment issues also. So I’ll just take them both there and get them taken care of at the same time.

Nah. It’s cool fall weather here in NY. I think its a result of highway speed wind getting under the hood and lifting it. She was driving on the NYS Thruway for a half hour and took the pics less than 5 minutes after leaving the T-way. The hood returned to normal shape within a half hour of being parked. Also, car is stored in a garage every night since new.

Haha, Bro, no way the wind is lifting your hood like that. I drive speeds in excess of 100mph and my hood stays right on track.

So does my Z’s. Because it’s aligned flat with the nose. The SR hood sits up about 1 cm - enough where it looks like enough air can get below it. Pics don’t do it justice. If you were looking at it in person, you’d see what I mean.

There’s only one 10mm bolt in the very center & its actually slotted for this adjustment. You can fix this yourself in about 5 minutes instead of wasting half a day or more at the dealer where who knows what can happen. At least give it a try. If you can’t get to where you want & have to take it to the dealer how would they ever know you tried to do it yourself?

I see the 10mm bolt. The 2 smaller bolts on the side are for the shroud. I’ll try adjusting it first. Thanks.
On my 2019 my hood sits higher than the front bumper cover making the gap look huge. I’m going to have to get the car in one of these days and have it adjusted.

Hey any updates?
I have the same issue on my car and the service manager wanted to take the whole bumper off. I just started messing with the single 10mm bolt and it made a huge difference! I didn't realize what exactly what was off until the sun was low and directly behind the car. I took a picture of the left side, the side that is off.
