A curb moved right in front of my hard right turn, and scraped my side skirt on the passenger side. I'm looking to replace my 3/4 length, carbon flash painted side skirt, but having a hard time finding a vendor that sells one. I may have to buy the full length ones and switch out both. Are all the after market versions about the same quality (I've read one company has little little pits/bubbles, so will stay away from those). Can anyone recommend (1) a decent but reasonably-priced quality source, and (2) a source that sells 3/4 length in carbon flash paint? Also, I may just make some minor repairs (smoothing, repainting) so can anyone recommend a source for carbon flash paint, preferably in a spray?
From past posts, I've compiled the following list, but not easy getting to a couple. - RPI designs - EOS (website doesn't work for me) - C7 Carbon -ACS Rockers
-JW Motorsports (not getting a response on the Forum)

I bought my full length side skirts from RPI and have been pleased. I do believe they have the shorter version too. If you try to call them, do it early in the day (8-9 am) as I have found it easier to contact them then. I have also had decent luck with an e-mail directly to the forum contact (find an RPI thread and go from there).
ACS Composites, pricey but you get what you pay for. Not sure if they have 3/4 length.
You can get Carbon Flash paint from your Dealer ($$$) or Amazon.

You can remove the side skirt and have it repaired.. I wiped out my Carbon flash splitter, cracked and scraped it, lots of curb rash.. I repaired mine with little effort.. reinforced the back, and enjoyed the total repair.. the cost was a blister pack of JB weld, 3m Filler, 1 can of GM 58U carbon flash spray paint, 1 can of clear. some #400 #800 #1000, #1500. polishing compound. Material cost less than 40 dollars, and 3 hours over 3 days 1 hour a day.,
Just a suggestion.

I agree if you could get a single side, it would avoid any grief..
I went with EOS, which are just plastic painted in Carbon Flash. It appears they only sell the full length versions. I consider both the skirts and the splitter to be "sacrificial" items because at some point they will be damaged... thus I wouldn't spend big bucks on them. Despite the price my EOS skirts look exactly like they came from the factory.
If you post pictures someone might be able to tell you if a touch up job is all that is needed. Since they are already damaged it might be worth a DIY fix. Worse case if the repair comes out looking crappy you can always go back to plan A and just buy new ones.
That's my plan. I'm not even going to take it off. I posted another thread about whether they can be sanded. The damage is minimal and mostly on the side, with some "piece cracking" on the top in a couple places, only seen at an angle. I'm pretty good with detail work...haven't filled in a long time, but will buy some filler and CF paint. Have a sander, polish, etc. Meanwhile keep an eye out for a used one in case it happens again. Not willing to spend $3-400 esp. since I only need the passenger side.
Or, may buy some from a guy I just found. Do you know whether a base stingray side skirt (the guy is selling the full length, indented kind) will fit a GS?
