My local Chevy dealer does not have the tool to set the caster on the c-7. My local dealer is the biggest corvette dealer in the central valley and they had the c-8 here to view .
How far would you drive if you found a dealer that had one ? Is it that important to have the caster set right or is close good enough ?
I have not called around any dealers yet but I have a feeling that if a dealer here in Calif has one it will be at least a 3 hour drive for me .

Caster is not an angle that wears tires.
People that track their cars will want it right for sure.
Personally, I would want it right even on a street car.

This has been covered many times here. I had the REAR caster set on my 14/16/ before & my 19Z just last week. Front caster can be read as normal settings using the machine. The 2 special tools for rear are “loaned” to the dealer thru GMs Global Connect website, then the Loan a Tool link. Dealer selects the tools, they are shipped 2 day express & can be kept 5 days. All shipping covered by GM. Only catch is dealer must be enrolled in the program thru a yearly fee. For me it makes a huge difference when taking any curve really hard to prevent one wheel staying in contact with the road & one is not (bouncing) to prevent more torque applied to one side or the other causing oversteer/understeer. If you hit a bump mid apex the car will want to hop sideways. The other situation which I absolutely need is for it to be correct when I do my OFTEN, WOT, NLS from 1st to 2nd to 3rd pulls. It keeps the car from trying to get sideways (as long as you’re going straight)!!🤪
