Hello, my name is ack. I have recently purchased my first corvette. 2019 Z51 stingray 2LT. Just wondering if anyone has any advise on proper storage & possible accessories to add to this near perfect machine. Thank you
Just hang out here read through the threads and ask questions if you feel the need. You will find many ideas and mod possibilities here for sure. Welcome and enjoy your car!
congrats on the z51 2lt - I have the same. I am not one to place to many performance type accessories but what I purchased was the following..
the 5 piece luggage set - currently on sale on the forum for about 400 bucks...full retail is around 900 fits perfect in cargo space
Sunshade for the front window
sandisk for the PDR
A better cargo cover - has the corvette decal on it.
A cargo partition for the cargo area - this was stuff does not fly or fall into the cabin
floor mats with stitching to match the inside of the cabin...red in my case also has the stingray logo on them
The making the c7 a book you can find on amazon
Some car washing supplies - I drove my previous car thru the car wash so I had nothing not even a bucket or hose.
enjoy the car
1st is drive the car for a while and get used to it. Then search through catalogues of Corvette accessories. Go to a Corvette show and maybe join a vette club. Don't rush to buy stuff, a lot of it may be gaudy unless you like gaudy.
Congrats on the new car, if you bought it new don’t miss out on the Ron Fellows Driving School @ Spring Mountain, they will let you explore the capabilities of the car in a controlled environment, and show you things about the car you couldn’t imagine.
1. Michelin Pilot 4S tires so you can absolutely, positively outbrake, out skidpad and out track a C8,
2. Ceramic brake pads so you won't be a beeyatch to cleaning wheels of brake dust which etches (rusts) the wheels if left on too long.
3. full length Z06-style side skirts to prevent the sticky MPSS (or 4S) tires from picking up stones and other debris and throwing them on your rocker panels and fenders.

Nice place to jump into Corvettes, ack. I've had a '69 427 and an '84, and the C7 is just so much more, in every way. Its tame when you want to drive modestly and an instant beast when you want to release the Kraken. Bone stock, I've yet to reach the limits of what the car can do, and there are an infinite list of add-ons beyond that. I've only had mine for a couple of months, so I'm the opposite of an expert, but what I do know well is that all I do is dream about driving that car. The depth of knowledge on this forum is unreal, and the members are very helpful, so welcome home.
Get chrome wheels if you dont have em already, a big giant wing ala zr1 style, a pair of fuzzy dice for the mirror, a windshield decal that says "Corvette, stingray, or z51" some overprice chemical guys products so you can keep it clean and shiny, and last but not least a folding chair for car shows! 😀

don’t polish it take it to the track, road course and drive it like you stole it ,it’s more satisfying
