Hey Guys - Im looking to think up a cool vanity plate for my new Sterling Blue Metallic Grand Sport Convertible.. Can you please share some ideas... I'd like to incorporate something with "BLU" or "BLUE" or "TOP"...something along those lines... Nothing that would be offensive (please).
Here are some I've thought of:
HISBLU7 (cause my fiance has a 12 Carlisle Blue GS and we thought maybe HERBLU6 for her)
what ever state that you are in will have a web site where you can check out tag combo's that are taken... save you some time at the DMV! Here in Alabama they have vanity tags Nascar related available. My vette has a #18 tag with Z5I and my pickup has my ham radio call sign. Congrats on choosing the "best" color! cj

I have these two plates so that us Junior Members can tell the difference between the American Corvettes and the new European Corvettes coming out next year.
Here's mine... If I come up anything catchy for yours I will revisit.
I'm sure the rules vary widely from state to state. I had a few back and forth rounds in Texas where I applied for one, they rejected it, I appealed, they rejected again, tried another one, etc. Took a few months to finally get this one. In Texas they are pretty picky - I wasn't asking for anything obviously offensive.

My wife and I each have a Vette. We wanted HIS and HER tags. Needless to say they were taken, so we put out initials in front of the words HIS and HERS--GDHIS and GDHERS. Worked for us here in Florida!
I'd suggest giving it several months to toss around some ideas if you can. Always good to pick something that you'll be able to live with and still seems good after a week or two. Even better to find something that means something to you. I also found that it is of very little use to bounce ideas off people in day to day life. Most people are unhelpful or negative although sometimes that can be useful in case there is an unanticipated interpretation of the plate.
Since your fiancé is also into Vettes: BLU4 2
Some other ideas: BLUR, BLUSHFT, BLUPILL, BLUANGEL, BLUFLAG (racing flag), STORM (Blue car in Cars 3 movie),
