Tire vibration

But everyone goofs sometimes, I have heard a couple of stories in previous years about Michelin tires that were out of balance or out of round.
Things to look at-
One of the balance weights came off?
Possible bent wheel?
Debris on the back of the wheel or the hub, causing wheel to sit crooked?
Did the installer use a Hunter Road Force Balancer? Has it been calibrated recently?
If you had no vibration before, and bad vibration now, that should be easy to diagnose.
Best of luck to you!
First week of July I bought a set of 19-20 size Michelin AS-3+ ZP and 2 of them were out of round, one Left front and one Right rear.
We went through the process of re-over inflating the tires and re-balancing them and driving them again ... etc etc.
After repeated trial and error, we finally saw as the tires were spinning on the balancing machine, 2 tires had deformed flat spots near the side wall.
If you end up needing to file a Claim for defective tires, you have 30 days from date of Mounting the tires to contact the selling retailer.
The first thing the retailer did was ship me 2 new tires as I was on the phone with them.
They then inform me in person and through Email what to do and how to do all the paperwork online, take pictures of the Tires Build dates and dread depth.
So keep records of all the dates of Delivery for the Original tires, when purchased, when mounted, when removed, and which tires are bad.. front or rear, left or right, and how many miles were put on them.
And keep records of when the Replacement tires where Delivered, and when Mounted.
Label the pictures and include them with all the paper work in an Envelope and tape them to the tires.
You will also be informed where online to print the Free shipping return labels and ship the tires Directly to Michelin.
Any follow up questions or problems I had were answered quickly and informatively.
Good luck
