I have a 2019 C7, I want to have some way of pulling it up on a wrecker if something happens. I have installed the permanent aluminum pucks for jacking. Is there another place to hook a small J hook if I purchase a long V-bridled tow strap.

You can buy a Tow hook, a Genuine GM tow hook, it screws into the superstructure through the front grill or the rear fascia. Be Very Careful not to buy one of those fake colorful tow hooks, from Amazon or eBay. ( THEY ARE FOR SHOW ONLY).. you see them in different colors, they are aluminum and cost around 25 to 35 dollars. A solid steel tow ring with the proper thread pitch ( they are around 100 dollars and ( Gene at Cultrag ) sells them and is a safe method since most tow companies do not carry every type of screw in tow hook.

Don't know there is a 'safe' place to hook tow strap into except the frame hold-down slots. Don't see the purpose of permanent pucks myself. I keep the removal ones in my truck cubby along with my tow strap.
Be sure to order the strap specifically for the C7 that's long enough to clear the bumper as mine does below. Earlier straps were too short and did not. I know because I initially received one that was too short in that it didn't clear the underside of C7.

Yes, buy the GM tow hook and don't go cheap on your expensive car. The hook fits perfectly in the battery compartment for storage.
It's not a question of going cheap, it's more about using what works best. Some tow truck operators won't use the tow hook to load a C7 on to a flatbed as it's off-centered. A tow hook is basically used to get a car on or off the track.
The "centered" tow point provided by a strap connected to the factory tie-downs provides a much easier and safer tow point than an off-center tow hook.
Does anyone know if these bridles would work on a C6?
Yes, C5, C6 and C7 all use the same T hooks through the slots in the frame. I am still using the T Hooks I purchased to trailer my 97 when I purchased it in 97. I purchased a V Bridle to pull my C7 up on the trailer since I didn't like the way the tow hook screwed into the front of the car snapped and turned while the winch pulled the car up on the trailer.
Received my strap yesterday through the mail. Strap looks exactly like your picture, quality product. After checking it out put it back in the bag that came with it and stored in the cubby. Just hope I never see it again!

Be aware that although all C7's have the slot in the battery area lid to store the hook, not all C7's have the threaded receivers front and rear to use the hook.
