I transfer music from cd's to an sd card and it works good. The other day I added a cd but when I popped it in the car, all the songs were duplicated. (see pic). I brought the card in and deleted everything on it and one by one transferred the cd's that are saved on my computer to the card. It only plays the one song at a time like it should but displays double.
You may need to force Gracenote to reindex. Add one more song or something and see if it reindexes ("waiting" rotating circle). Also try album and songs, then go back to artists.
If you look at the contents on your computer what does it only show one item per song? Any invisible files that you might might be able to view with the proper actions?
There appears to be an indexing issue with Gracenote. Need to force a reindex if the song is only on the SD one time. He is displaying browse by Artist, so if the song appears on multiple albums it will show each instance of the song.
As I don't believe this is the case, I think it is the index. A sure way to tell would be to format another SD card and only copy one album to the card.
