Very nicely done Sir. Looking at yours, reminds me I need to upgrade mine. It's always fun to build your own stuff even if it costs a few bucks more.

Well done!

Very nice looking and functional. You know your way around a hand saw.

I built a set of those wood ramps very similar to the OPs back around 2005. They were great and worked well with the Jeep that I intended to use them for. Honestly, I didn't try to lift either my C5 or C7 with them. I did have a problem with them moving when I tried to drive the Jeep on them. I like the ramps in post #33 better and might consider building a set of those.

I built a set of sectioned ramps using 2" x 12" lumber. After I initially made it 1 ridiculously heavy piece for each side, I cut it into 3 smaller more easily maneuverable sections. The first picture shows the blocks behind the vehicle before I reverse up onto them. The second picture shows it after I am on top of the last section. The third picture shows the 3 sections separated for illustrative purposes. And the last picture shows the vehicle up with the first 2 sections removed.Since the photos were taken, I modified sections 1 and 3 smaller - less weight. This can easily be done to custom size for any vehicle. This happens to be an RV, but I can use them as needed for my C8 - someday when I get it - lol.
