I did a deep dive looking for you even into the European market... 250 dollar models. All I could find from hundreds of sources Black GS with chrome wheels but with stripes and hash marks .of various colors … I tried.
Good Luck

just a thought might be buying one with stripes and using #1500 and #2000 grit wet n dry.. polishing off the stripes..Plastic can be polished to a mirror finish. Personally I would give it a try. if there was no other resource.

Read your thread title and thought you were looking for a model (like in the live/beautiful kind) for taking photos of your C7. Like the photos a forum member shared with us a couple weeks ago.

Sell you car and buy one that matches the model you can find! see... there’s a solution for everything!

Seriously though, get one close to your car and have it painted to match.

I got lucky in that I had a TR Z51 and that model was easily found.

There is no reason another black could not be repainted and polished to meet your need. We did such with 1/25th plastic kits all the time when I was young: with appropriate prep and finishing they turned out nicely. Today's metal 1/18th scales should certainly offer no greater challenge. All the best.

I KNEW that would catch someone's eye and curiosity. Yes, I recall that post well, that is why I led off of with it.
Thanks,

Thanks, yes, if nothing crops up I saw one on e-bay with yellow hash marks and a white stripe up the middle of the car. I will purchase it and repaint it if I can't find the one I am looking for.
Thank you,
Rich

Check out www.diecastmodelswholesale.com, click on Corvette models. AutoArt offers a 1/18 scale Grand Sport in various colors, including black. Downside is that all have stripes and hash marks, and all except for the black car have black wheels. All have opening hood, hatch and doors, and from my experience AutoArt does a quality model. If I'm not mistaken these models are resin cast, but even if they're diecast metal they aren't that difficult to dis-assemble and repaint to your specs. The cars appear to have Stage 2 Aero and Automatic trans, and they sell for $160.

I have the name of a gentleman who makes exact replicas of your car, down the exact license plate, color of interior, options, stripes, etc. You send him several pictures of your car and he builds it from scratch. If you want your exact car, he's the man and his work is damn near flawless... He actually made replicas for Zora and Tadge, and had it signed by them. PM me if you want his information.
