Default Heads-up display?

Is it possible to take a C7 2LT to Chevy to install a heads up display?

What would you do with a second HUD as 2LTs come with a HUD?

2LT and 3LT come with HUD. While is is possible to install HUD on a 1LT it is not cost effective. There is one thread where a vendor installed a HUD if you can find it.

A 2LT comes standard with the HUD.

I wonder if that is the way it is in all countries. In the UK all stingrays come with Z51 and mag ride - according to a review by autoweek.uk

Interested to know if export 2LT cars had the HUD or not. If not, I can imagine it might be rather costly to add one.

Jeez.. Anything is possible if you throw enough money at it. We landed a man on the moon... The question should be, "is it cost effective?" Can you do it cheaper than trading your car for one that came with it? If you are paying someone to do all the work, probably not...

Another question, how important will it be to you after getting it?
I have (4) friends/family members who have HUD. Four (including my wife) thought it was cool at first, however haven't used it since the novelty wore off after the first few weeks. The forth uses it religiously and thinks it's the best thing since self-serve gas.
